Because Most Dog Training
Never Actually Fixes the Problem
Why Mosaic K9
If you’ve tried training before, you’ve probably seen it.
The dog behaves in the lesson… then everything falls apart at home.
The trainer avoids triggers instead of fixing them.
You’re told to manage the dog instead of actually changing the behavior.
That’s why so many owners are still living with chaos, reactivity, and selective listening.
This approach is different.

We don’t avoid
the problem
Most training teaches owners to manage triggers and distance, stay "under threshold," and work around the behavior.
I go where the problem actually happens so it can truly change.
Not management. Real change.
Most owners have been told what they want to hear.
More treats. More time. More management.
I’m more interested in what will actually change life with your dog.
Real change often requires changing how the dog is handled and how the dog lives with you.

I tell you the truth
most trainers avoid

I teach you what changes behavior
When I hold the leash, behavior usually changes quickly.
I teach you what changed, why it changed, and how to do the same thing yourself.
Then you get recorded lessons, direct messaging, and support through my training app so the progress sticks.

We don’t build dogs with tools first
A lot of training jumps straight to tools to force change.
That’s not how I work.
I start with communication, timing, and structure — not shortcuts.
Tools support the training. They don’t replace it.
Is Mosaic K9 Right For You?
The Best Results Happen with the Right Owners
The training works extremely well when owners are ready to be involved.
If you’re looking for quick tricks or someone to “fix the dog” without changing anything at home, we probably aren’t the right fit.
But if you're ready to learn, practice, and build a better relationship with your dog, the results can be life-changing.
This is a great fit if:
-
You want real change, not management
-
You can commit to at least 10 minutes a day outside of lessons
-
You want to understand how your dog thinks and learns
-
You’re open to honest feedback
-
You're willing to change how you live with and handle your dog
When owners are all-in, the progress is remarkable.
If that sounds like you, we should talk.
This is not the best fit if:
-
You're looking for a quick fix
-
You want the trainer to do all the work
-
You prefer avoiding problems instead of solving them
-
You’re not willing to change how the dog is handled at home
-
You're not willing to follow through when it feels inconvenient

We can have people over again.
"My wife and I have an aggressive German shepherd. I never thought it would be possible to have strangers in our home again without him going crazy and scaring those individuals. Now we’re ready to start hosting parties."

Listens better than most people I know.
"I brought my dog, Coco, to Mosaic K9 thinking she might never get the hang of potty training or basic commands. I was wrong. Now she goes everywhere with me, off leash, and listens better than most people I know."

Where It All Began
During a lonely season of my life and a deep need for connection, I began training dogs at the age of 14.
My mom surprised me with Panda, the first dog I could truly call my own. What started as a kid teaching his friend to sit and shake eventually turned into a fascination and a quest to understand the minds of dogs and what makes them tick.
Even back then, one question mattered more than anything else:
How do you get a dog to want to work with you — not just obey you?
That question shaped everything that came next.
